Course Overview

This three day course will offer hands on training in troubleshooting backflows and repairing large diameter backflow preventers in a controlled environment.  This course will cover many different assemblies of different sizes.  We will discuss, Type II backflows, as well as double check detector assemblies, and more.  We will also cover the different testing methods, confined space entry, and dive deeper in to backflow testing from the basic tester certification course.

In order to receive certification, PAI will require that students attend all three days of the workshop, pass a written exam with a score of 70% or greater.  Attendees must be present and prepared to begin training promptly at 8:00 a.m. every morning of the workshop.
