Advanced Backflow Repair Course - Seneca, SC

You MUST hold a backflow tester certification to attend this class.  

Course Overview

This three day course will offer hands on training in troubleshooting backflows and repairing large diameter backflow preventers in a controlled environment.  This course will cover many different assemblies of different sizes.  We will discuss, Type II backflows, as well as double check detector assemblies, and more.  We will also cover the different testing methods, confined space entry, and dive deeper in to backflow testing from the basic tester certification course.

In order to receive certification, PAI will require that students attend all three days of the workshop, pass a written exam with a score of 70% or greater.  Attendees must be present and prepared to begin training promptly at 8:00 a.m. every morning of the workshop. This training will include several extended sessions where the students are testing, troubleshooting and doing minor repairs on PVB, DCVA, and RP devices for both small and large diameter backflow preventers. Cost: $699.00 per person for the three days. The cost will cover all necessary training materials. Please bring your own paper and pen.  Lunches are not included with this fee.

In the event that a student is not able to attend due to extenuating circumstances, you may substitute another tester.  This course is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another class. After you are confirmed to the class (approximately 3 weeks before the class) you will not be eligible for a refund.

Written Exam

Every student will be given a written exam and must have a passing score of a 70% or higher.
